Compared to New Year’s Eve 2022-2023, this time 10% fewer cars burned down.

There were also ten percent fewer arrests last night, reports the head of the French Interior Ministry.

France celebrated the New Year against the backdrop of the highest level of terrorist threat.

Law and order was ensured by more than 90 thousand security forces.

At the same time, it became known that in Germany New Year’s Eve passed in much the same way.

More than 250 people were detained, as well as 15 police officers injured.
