A draft law has been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine allowing for the conscription of disabled people into military service with their consent.

It is also proposed to legislate a ban on leaving the country for men of military age.

The document was published on the website of the Ukrainian parliament.

What bill has been submitted to the Rada?

The document stipulates that people with disabilities, with their consent, can be called up for military service within the boundaries of the region in which they live or are registered.

At the same time, they retain the right to leave the country.

Similar conditions will also apply to single fathers, fathers with many children, students, graduate students and doctoral students.

In addition, it is proposed to legislate a ban on leaving the country for men of military age during martial law.

At the moment, the procedure for leaving Ukraine for men of military age is regulated only by decree of the head of state.
