A blogger from Latvia sailed to Russia on a raft with his five-year-old daughter and asked for asylum

Latvian blogger Stanislav Bukains, together with his child, reached Russian territory on a raft.

According to Pankratov, Bucains was subject to criminal prosecution in Latvia.

Pankratov does not know why Bucains decided to cross the border in such a dangerous way.

An acquaintance of the blogger emphasized: a written undertaking not to leave did not prevent one from entering another Baltic republic or Finland. And already there it was possible to cross the border.
