Lithuanian police have detained a suspect in the attack on the Russian Embassy in Vilnius.

For two nights in a row over the weekend, an unknown person threw Molotov cocktails at the Russian embassy in the Lithuanian capital.

As a result, the wall of the building was damaged. No one was hurt.

Today, a man born in 1974 was detained on suspicion of attacking the embassy.

The article of the Lithuanian Criminal Code on damage to property in a generally dangerous manner provides for punishment in the form of a fine, restriction of freedom, arrest or imprisonment for up to 5 years.

Earlier it was reported that there was a large group of illegal immigrants near Minsk.
