Recently it became known that a certain man was detained in Azerbaijan, who reportedly planned to carry out several terrorist attacks in this country.
The local State Security Service notified the general public about the arrest of a potential terrorist (or failed terrorist).
Its representatives also revealed the identity of the detainee – this is Azerbaijani citizen Bahruz Askerov.
He, TASS agency citing the State Security Service, established contact with residents of different regions of his country.
Then he gave them the task: to organize an attempt on the life of the head of the executive power of the Lenkoran region of Azerbaijan.
In addition, the State Security Service found out that the same Askerov, together with his accomplices, planned to take the lives of several foreigners from among English language teachers in various regions of the country.
Representatives of the Service noted that, according to the court verdict, Bahruz Askerov was arrested.
Previously, the terrorist threat level in France was at its highest.
