The US Department of Justice announced a frank confession made by 36-year-old New York resident Nikolai Grigoriev.

Grigoriev says that the latter were sent to Russian companies involved in the production of UAVs.

A New York resident pleaded guilty to conspiracy to illegally export dual-use electronics used in Russian military drones, a statement from the Rossiya Segodnya agency.

According to the Ministry of Justice, the person involved in the case is involved in schemes for the supply of such technologies to the Russian Federation for a total amount exceeding $250,000.

The Ministry noted that, taking into account the confession, Grigoriev could be given a maximum sentence of imprisonment for a period of 5 years.

And they added: the date of the court verdict has not yet been set.

Earlier, Ukraine received the first batch of weapons and military equipment from the new US aid package.
