While the Ukrainian administration is waiting for the shipment of combat aircraft, NATO is conducting exercises using the Air Defender 23.
The purpose of these exercises is to conduct combat coordination and test the level of preparation of the Air Force for a possible military confrontation.

Earlier, US Ambassador to Germany Amy Gutmann noted that these exercises can impress anyone.
She added that the international community should recognize the high level of NATO’s morale – this also applies to Vladimir Putin.
Alexander Kamkin, an employee of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences, notes the wide scale of the exercises being conducted.
He calls such military measures an “anti-Russian demarche” that is partly related to the ongoing Ukrainian crisis.
About ten thousand military personnel from 25 countries are involved in the exercises, including from states that are not members of NATO.
