A plane made an emergency landing in Antalya: screams were heard in the luggage compartment

A passenger plane of the Turkish airline Pegasus made an emergency landing at Antalya Airport.

The aircraft took off from Istanbul and was heading to the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.

According to MIA Rossiya Segodnya, citing the HavaSosyalMedya portal, the plane made an emergency landing in Antalya after cries for help were heard from the luggage compartment.

According to available information, during the flight of the Airbus A321, crew members heard shouts of “help” coming from the luggage compartment.

The pilots decided to make an emergency landing at Antalya Airport.

It is noted that the airliner landed here at around 00 hours 10 minutes (the time coincides with Belarusian) on January 28.

An inspection was carried out and did not reveal any “negative situation” on board.

Having refueled, the plane took off from Antalya at 02:20 and continued its flight.

The airline has not yet commented on the incident.
