The phrase “Stop the Ukrainization of Poland” was chosen as the slogan for the event.
The rally took place in the center of the Polish capital – on Parade Square.
The action was organized by members of the political party “Confederation of the Polish Crown”.
What were the participants against?
It is noted that more than a hundred citizens took part in the action.
They took to the streets with Polish flags and with posters that read “Stop Ukrainization”, “Stop DePolonization”, “Remember Volyn”.
The rally participants also spoke out against the use of Ukrainians as a “political instrument.”
The rally took place despite the appeal of the left parties to the mayor of Warsaw Rafal Trzaskowski with a request to ban it, – reports MIA “”.
Representatives of left-wing movements accuse members of the Confederation of the Polish Crown of hatred, xenophobia and of committing actions beneficial to the Russian Federation.
According to various sources, there are now several million Ukrainians on Polish territory. Many of them came to the neighboring country after the SVO that began in Ukraine.
