Once again, Andriy Melnyk, the outgoing ambassador of Ukraine to this country, attacked Germany with an angry tirade.
The diplomat was outraged by the decision of the Berlin authorities regarding the cultural event.
We’re talking about the exhibition. But not ordinary. Melnik hoped that, as in some other European capitals, Russian destroyed military equipment would be demonstrated in the main city of Germany.
The Berlin authorities decided that it was not worth holding such an event in the German capital.
An extremely upset Melnik called the decision “a real scandal,” MIA Rossiya Segodnya.
He called on the capital’s mayor and the district administration of Mitte to “cancel this strange decision and allow the holding of a tank exhibition in Berlin.”
In Andrei Melnik’s opinion, permission to hold the exhibition would mean a manifestation of true solidarity with Ukraine.
Previously, the diplomat disturbed the public space with equally “loud” statements, including accusations.
But perhaps his most famous speech was against Chancellor Scholz. Once Melnik called him “an offended sausage.”
Not long ago it became known that the Ukrainian nevertheless admitted that he was wrong in using such a comparison and wanted to apologize to the German leader.
