An unusual situation occurred in Greece: local communists stopped a train with American tanks.
It is known that it was initially planned to transport combat vehicles from Alexandroupolis to Bulgarian territory.
However, the protesters did not allow this to be done.
They stood right in front of the train, holding flags and banners.
Members of the KKE and KNU blocked a train at the Alexandroupolis railway station, – MIA quotes from a message published on one of the Greek Internet portals.
The action carried out by representatives of political forces turned out to be effective.
First the train stopped. Later, the train with combat vehicles from the USA returned completely.
Participants in the action called Alexandroupolis “the port of nations.” They opposed the settlement being turned into a base for the North Atlantic Alliance.
Greek communists believe that representatives of the military-political bloc and the United States should leave the region.
Earlier, rioting farmers in Poland paralyzed traffic on 500 roads in the country.
