About hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers have been transported from Donbass to hospitals with frostbite in recent days.
This information was shared with the general public by an officer from the LPR Andrei Marochko.
In recent days, about 100 military personnel with varying degrees of frostbite have been admitted to Ukrainian medical institutions from the SVO zone, – security agency TASS.
According to him, most of the patients were admitted to medical institutions in a state of severe alcohol intoxication.
The officer also reported that approximately 40% of hospitalized Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers were diagnosed with severe frostbite, which resulted in their limbs being amputated.
It is known that quite severe frosts have been observed in that region recently.
According to weather forecasters, the current air temperature in Donbass ranges from -12 to -14 degrees.
