About 500 settlements in Ukraine remain without electricity

According to the Ukrainian National Energy Company Ukrenergo, today 487 settlements remain without power supply.

At the same time, the country is experiencing an increase in daily electricity consumption.

Since the beginning of hostilities and for other reasons, almost 500 settlements have remained without power supply in Ukraine, writes MIA “” with reference to the Ukrenergo Telegram channel.

The message says that “due to hostilities and other reasons, 487 settlements remain without electricity.”

At the same time, the company notifies that due to ongoing hostilities, new damage is being recorded in

Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa and Kharkov regions, as well as in the part of the Kherson region controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reports that the gas transportation system was damaged in the Kharkov region.

In particular, an emergency situation occurred at the gas distribution station that supplies the local thermal power plant.

The situation is similar at another gas distribution station in the city.

At the same time, Ukrenergo notes an increased daily maximum electricity consumption of 1.5%.
