After being attacked by José Luiz Datena (PSDB) during the last debate for São Paulo City Hall this Sunday (15), on TV Cultura, candidate Pablo Marçal (PRTB) made two publications on his social networks comparing himself to the former presidents Jair Bolsonaro and Donald Trump.
Marçal used images of the attack suffered by Trump during a rally this year, as well as a photo and video of the stabbing suffered by then-candidate Jair Bolsonaro in 2018.
In the publication, the candidate wrote: “why all this hate?”
Pablo Marçal also made a post in which he appears lying in a hospital bed, with a blood pressure meter and an oximeter – a blood oxygenation level meter.
The candidate appears making a campaign gesture, a letter “M” with his hand.
According to Marçal’s office, he “is injured, with suspected fractures in the thoracic region and great difficulty breathing”. The candidate was taken to the Sírio-Libanês hospital, after leaving the debate site, according to advisors.
Chair attack
During the fourth block of the TV Cultura debate, José Luiz Datena threw a chair at Pablo Marçal after being provoked by the businessman.
“Brazil wants to know, São Paulo wants to know. You are a ‘arregão’. You came across the debate these days to slap me, which you wanted to do. You’re not even a man to do that”, said Marçal.
After that, the presenter went to the candidate with a chair and attacked the businessman, who was then insulted: “You son of a bitch…”.
