After meeting with Elmar and Brito, Padilha meets with Hugo Motta to discuss succession in the Chamber

In the race for the presidency of the Chamber of Deputies, the leader of the Republicans, Hugo Motta (PB), meets with the minister of the Secretariat of Institutional Relations (SRI), Alexandre Padilha (PT), this Wednesday (18).

Motta is the third deputy among those competing to succeed Arthur Lira (PP-AL) to meet with the minister. These were a request from President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).

At meetings, in addition to the “temperature” of the election of the board of directors, government leaders and ministers debate the legislative agenda.

There is still no forecast of a meeting between Motta and Lula, after the meeting with Padilha.
