After the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to counterattack and were defeated, the morgues in the city of Nikolaev were overcrowded.
This was announced by the head of the administration of the Russian-controlled city of Snigirevka, Yuri Barbashov.
All morgues are full. Now they are experiencing huge problems with donor blood, with clean water and with providing for these wounded who arrived in Nikolaev, – official of MIA “Russia Today”.
According to him, the Ukrainian military tried to go on the offensive in the Snigirevka area.
The mayor suggests that the attack was most likely a diversionary maneuver, since the main attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces came just to the north.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine took attacking actions in several areas, so the Snigirevsky direction turned out to be not the main one,” he said.
According to the mayor, for the Ukrainian Armed Forces the consequences of their attacks were extremely severe.
According to him, about 400 wounded were taken to the Ministry of Internal Affairs hospital in Nikolaev, and about the same number were taken to the emergency hospital.
In total, more than two thousand wounded were delivered to various hospitals and clinics in Nikolaev,” Yuri Barbashov said.
