Air Force fighter disappeared from radar while flying over the Black Sea

A Bulgarian Air Force MiG-29 fighter disappeared from radar during a training flight over the Black Sea.

According to foreign Internet sites, the plane stopped communicating at 00:45 when it was flying over the country’s waters.

It became known that the fighter crashed.

A search and rescue operation was immediately launched and they are looking for the pilot, media reports citing the country’s Ministry of Defense.

It involves forces and assets of the Navy, Border Police and Air Force.

Military exercises were suspended, and the head of the Ministry of Defense went to the site.
