American intelligence did not know about Russia’s plans for Ukraine – media

American intelligence did not know about Russia’s plans for actions in Ukraine, and therefore made errors in its judgment.

Journalist Ramzi Mardini shared this information on the pages of The National Interest.

He informs readers that American intelligence officers made many different assumptions and made the same number of all kinds of forecasts.

All of them concerned a Russian military special operation and they were all based on unverified data and the theory of probability.

As a result, the situation developed in such a way that the States interpreted the information from the position of their own benefit, – the words of the observer of MIA “Russia Today”.

But the Russian advanced counterintelligence system has become a real problem for Western intelligence services,” notes Mr. Mardini.

He writes: almost all the assumptions and warnings of American experts turned out to be false, and their forecasts did not come true.

Later, US officials admitted that the unfounded threats were part of the information war against Russia, the journalist added.

In his opinion, ordinary ordinary US citizens were misled by such actions in order to gain support from the general public for the confrontation with Russia.
