Retired US Marine intelligence officer Scott Ritter believes that liberation from the West was a wonderful gift for Russia.

Ritter believes that Western countries gave Russia a gift with their aggressive statements.
According to him, Russia did not ask the United States for a “divorce,” but Washington itself gave it.
It was a gift that Russia could not even dream of – stated the expert.
He noted that after the collapse of the USSR, the West showed all appearances of its disposition towards Russia, but in reality considered it a defeated enemy.
According to Ritter, American officials who came to Russia at that time liked to feel like masters.
