The Palácio do Planalto was informed that it has acted upon the approval of the Chamber of Deputies.

According to political organizers from the federal government, the former president called congressmen from the PL and PP.

The two parties exchanged members this Tuesday (10), in the federal collegiate, to guarantee quorum and endorsement of the initiative that .

Even if the federal commission approves the initiative, the chances of a plenary vote are also slim. This is because the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), has already signaled that the topic is not a priority for this year.

Furthermore, jurists assess that the bill is unconstitutional and could be overturned by the Federal Supreme Court (STF).

This Tuesday (10), the project report was not read. The reading was postponed after a series of initiatives by the government base to obstruct the analysis of the text.

The project’s rapporteur, deputy Rodrigo Valadares (União-SE), presented a substitute that forgives those who participated, made donations or supported the attacks through social networks.

The text also grants amnesty to those who participated in “subsequent events or events prior to the events that occurred on January 8, 2023, as long as they maintain a correlation with the events”. There is, therefore, no specific temporal delimitation.
