As a result of the assassination attempt, the official was seriously injured, but there was no threat to life.

As a representative of the Russian embassy said, today Syty received an anonymous parcel, opened it, and an explosion occurred.

According to the diplomat, the head of the Russian House was hospitalized with serious injuries; doctors assess his condition as serious, but there is no threat to life.

Doctors say concussion and blood loss – the diplomatic mission reported.

They also reported that after the incident it was decided to strengthen security at the embassy building, which is located opposite the Russian House.
