It follows from the statement that this morning at 09:30 Moscow time, two attackers attempted a terrorist attack near the Ministry of Internal Affairs building in the center of the Turkish capital.

It was established that two men were traveling in a car.

At 09:30, the terrorists stopped in front of the entrance gate of the Main Security Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey.

One of the men then detonated an explosive device and blew himself up.

The second attacker was neutralized by officers of the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During the ensuing shootout, two police officers were injured.

At the same time, it is reported that law enforcement officers used a controlled explosion to destroy a suspicious package in the capital.
