An SBU colonel committed suicide in his office

Russian and Western media write about the tragedy that took place within the walls of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) building.

There, Colonel Dmitry Bakaev, deputy head of the SBU special communications department, was found dead in his own office.

As TASS, citing Strana, a high-ranking representative of the Ukrainian special services took his own life.

The publication notes that in his suicide note he accused his superiors of constant humiliation.

The Russian news agency draws attention to the fact that this information, according to Strana, was received by its journalists from a source in law enforcement agencies.

It was he who reported that Bakaev was found dead in his office.

Next to the body they found a suicide note in the form of a report addressed to the head of the SBU Vasily Malyuk.

This document contains accusations against senior intelligence officials of constant humiliation and bias.

At the moment, the investigation is establishing the motives for suicide, several SBU officers have already been interrogated, TASS quotes the Strana publication.
