The National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) sent notifications to operators and internet providers on Wednesday night (18) ordering a new block of X.

This resulted in an inadvertent and temporary restoration of the service for Brazilian users”, says the statement from the social network.

“While we expect the platform to become inaccessible again soon, we continue efforts to work with the Brazilian government to resume it very soon for the people of Brazil,” the notice ends.

Technology expert Arthur Igreja explained to CNN that X made a change in the routing leading to the platform.

“X changed address. So he went through another range of IPs and then people are able to reach this new address”, explained the specialist.
