The Moderna vaccine with foreign impurities, a batch of which was identified in Japan, claimed another – the third life.
It was previously reported that two men died as a result of the second dose of the drug in the country. An investigation has begun. The use of the drug was suspended.
It has now emerged that the death of another person has been linked to an American vaccine in which foreign particles were found.
We are talking about a 49-year-old man who received the second dose of Moderna and died the next morning – August 11th.
Doctors determined that the deceased was allergic to buckwheat; no other, more serious contraindications for vaccination were identified.
So far, the connection between the death and the man’s vaccination has not been confirmed.
Let us recall that at the end of August, two 30-year-old men died in Japan after undergoing the second stage of immunization using the American Moderna vaccine.
It was established that they were injected with a drug from a batch of serum in which foreign impurities were found. But the exact cause of death has not been named either.
Strange particles in medicines were detected in five prefectures.
Foreign substances were later found in the Pfizer vaccine. The manufacturer explained their presence as rubber crumbs that fell from the ampoule cap.
As for the Moderna drug, the manufacturer assured that foreign substances cannot affect the quality and safety of the vaccine.
