Recently it became known that several Arab countries located in the Persian Gulf are ready to recognize Israel.
Saudi Arabia and Qatar may also take such a step.
US President Joe Biden made a corresponding statement during his speech to voters in New York.
He informed those present that he was now in close contact with “the Saudis and all other Arab countries,” including Qatar, Jordan and Egypt.
These states, according to the American leader, are ready to fully recognize Israel.
But there must be a plan of action after Gaza, and there must be a path to a two-state solution, – the owner of the White House, TASS agency.
Biden clarified that the event “doesn’t have to happen today, but there has to be progress.”
He expressed confidence that this “can be done and ensure the integrity of Israel.”
And if this happens, then, the US President added, Tel Aviv will be safe – “Israel can be saved.”
Earlier, the US Congress announced Biden’s intention to leave power.
