President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) asked the Minister of the Institutional Relations Secretariat, Alexandre Padilha, to hold a “block” meeting with government ministers and the respective base party leaders in the Chamber.

Padilha’s first meeting, this Tuesday (10), was with ministers Juscelino Filho (Communications) and Celso Sabino (Tourism), both from União Brasil, along with the leader of the party, Elmar Nascimento (BA).

The meetings discuss issues of interest in the Chamber and the succession in the presidency of the Legislature. The agendas seek to take advantage of the week of “concentrated effort” for plenary votes, before the municipal elections.
