Last night, September 10, in the Black Sea, the Russian military stopped an insidious attempt by an enemy landing force to penetrate Crimea.

As the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reports in its official Telegram channel, the incident took place in the western part of the Black Sea.

There, northeast of Zmeiny Island, Black Sea Fleet aircraft destroyed three American Willard Sea Force fast boats.

On these ships there were Ukrainian paratroopers heading towards the coast of Crimea, the defense department noted.

The ministry also reported another incident in the Black Sea off the Crimean coast.

The Ministry of Defense said that last night an attempt by Kyiv to carry out a terrorist attack using aircraft-type drones was stopped.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces thus wanted to strike targets located on Russian territory.

The attempt failed: Russian air defense systems destroyed eight enemy UAVs over the Black Sea near Crimea, the Ministry of Defense noted.
