Attack on Gradsky’s widow: police do not rule out staging

0views

Russian law enforcement officers do not exclude the possibility of a staged attack on the widow of Alexander Gradsky, Marina Kotashenko.

As reported, the criminals forced the woman to go to her home, where they stole 100 million rubles (3,390,000 Belarusian rubles) stored there.

The TASS agency, citing its sources in the police, said that the robbery could have been staged and that such a version is now being considered.

At the same time, law enforcement officers note that several versions are currently being considered.

In particular, a version is being explored that the armed attack on Kotashenko and the theft under threat of a large sum of money was staged, the agency’s interlocutor noted.

According to him, the victim contacted the police to report the attack only six hours after the crime.

She said that unknown people attacked her at about one o’clock in the afternoon, but the woman filed a statement about the crime closer to seven o’clock in the evening.

The victim explains this by saying that she was in a state of shock all this time, and the criminals warned against contacting the police.

But that’s not all. Law enforcement officers have information that after the abduction, the victim of the criminal raid herself gave the three men a lift to the highway, where they transferred to a white Mercedes, which they drove towards Moscow.

All this indicates that the incident could have been staged, the law enforcement officer said.

It should be noted that the police opened a criminal case into the robbery, which is under the control of the prosecutor’s office of the Moscow region.
