Because of Zelensky, Poland will send its troops to Ukraine – Ishchenko

Former diplomat Rostislav Ishchenko spoke about the consequences of Vladimir Zelensky’s decision to grant the Poles a special status in Ukraine.

This is fraught with the introduction of Warsaw’s troops into the country. But this is precisely the scenario that the Ukrainian leader wants,” Ishchenko noted.

Moreover, the president granted special status to the Poles precisely in exchange for the introduction of the Polish military into his country, says the ex-diplomat.

Let us recall that earlier Polish President Andrzej Duda announced that Zelensky had submitted to the Rada a draft law regarding the mentioned status.

Ishchenko has no doubt that parliament will approve the bill. And then, in his opinion, Ukraine will fall under the protectorate of Poland.

In exchange, Kyiv (Washington and London too) expects to see twenty thousand Polish troops in Western Ukraine, – the author of the assumption of MIA “Russia Today”.

He explains that due to this, Zelensky wants to transfer about 30,000 Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters from the western regions and about 20,000–30,000 people from the territorial defense to the eastern front.

The former diplomat believes that Warsaw will most likely not comply with the conditions for the deployment of its troops and will try to occupy as much land as possible in Ukraine.
