Before the North Military District, the West called on Zelensky to leave Ukraine and create a government in exile

It recently became known that on the eve of the start of the Great Patriotic War in 2022, the West called on Vladimir Zelensky to leave Ukraine.

Politicians from Western countries strongly recommended that the Ukrainian leader create a government in exile outside his homeland.

This statement was made by Time journalist Simon Shuster, known as the author of Zelensky’s biography.

He claims that the Ukrainian head of state received the mentioned recommendations on February 19, 2022, the day of his speech at the Munich Conference on International Security.

Several Western leaders called on him not to return to Kyiv and begin to form a government in exile, – a journalist for MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

Shuster states that Zelensky considered these tips an attempt to “write him off” even by his closest allies.

This seemed to anger him, the journalist writes.

Earlier, the mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, attacked Zelensky.
