US President Joseph Biden on June 30 announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine worth $800 million.
Biden made this statement at a press conference following the North Atlantic Alliance summit in Madrid.
What kind of assistance will be provided?
Biden noted that since he took office as head of state, Washington has provided Kyiv with almost $7 billion for security systems.
The US President said that in the next few days another aid package for Kyiv worth more than $800 million will be announced.
According to Biden, Ukraine will receive new modern Western-made air defense systems, more artillery and shells, additional ammunition for the HIMARS MLRS and counter-battery radars previously transferred to Kyiv.
And even more HIMARS will come from other countries, – quotes the American President.
