Biden asks Zelensky to stop complaining about lack of US aid

American journalists learned about Joe Biden’s secret message to his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky.

In particular, the American leader asked the latter to stop publicly complaining about the lack of assistance from the United States.

According to the Washington Post, citing a former White House employee, Biden warned Zelensky that he may have difficulties in subsequent attempts to ask Congress for money for Kyiv.

According to the author of the material, the President of Ukraine has repeatedly publicly called on the United States and other Western states to provide his country with additional weapons.

This is despite the fact that Biden and Congress have already sent “unprecedented amounts of aid and advanced weapons” to Kyiv.

The publication suggests that the situation could worsen if the Republicans take back the House of Representatives on November 8.
