The head of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, James Comer, sent a special invitation to Joe Biden.

But the White House informed the addressee that the country’s president did not accept his invitation because he did not want to testify in the impeachment case.

This is stated in the corresponding letter, available to CNN.

Your impeachment investigation is over. We decline President Biden’s invitation to testify, – TASS written response to Comer from Biden’s legal adviser Richard Sauber.

In addition, the adviser accused the latter of spreading “false and unsupported accusations.”

Prior to this, member of the lower house of Congress Don Bacon said that lawyers hired by Congress did not find a crime during the Biden impeachment investigation.

According to him, “the investigation is nearing completion.”

Let us add that the Republicans now controlling the House of Representatives are conducting an impeachment investigation against their president.

The investigation also concerns the financial transactions of the son and brother of the head of state.

Earlier, Biden said that Arab countries are ready to recognize Israel.
