He arrived later than the Queen of Great Britain at a gala reception in the county of Cornwall, thereby violating the world-famous rules of royal protocol.
As foreign websites write, Biden, along with his wife Jill Biden, arrived later than Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain.
The queen did not pay attention to being a few minutes late.
She spoke cordially with the guests, including the US leader, whom she met for the first time since he took office.
It is worth noting that the American leader has previously found himself in awkward situations – he once fell on a plane before flying to Atlanta, and during the summit he got lost in a restaurant and could not find his way around.
