US President Joe Biden invited his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky to visit the White House on December 12.

According to available information, the leaders of the two countries intend to discuss the current situation around the Ukrainian conflict and Washington’s position on this issue.

Biden invited Zelensky to the White House for a meeting on Tuesday, December 12, – press service of the US Presidential Administration MIA “Russia Today”.

The press service statement notes that during the meeting with Zelensky, Biden plans to assure his interlocutor of Washington’s “unshakable commitment” to support the people of Ukraine.

The presidents “will discuss Ukraine’s needs and the importance of continued U.S. support at a critical time,” the statement said.

In turn, Zelensky’s office named the continuation of cooperation between Ukraine and the United States in the defense sector as one of the key issues at the negotiations.

To be specified: the parties will consider the topic of implementing joint projects for the production of weapons and air defense systems.

Another issue on the agenda is coordination of efforts between Washington and Kiev next year.
