On Friday, June 16, US President Joe Biden visited the state of Connecticut.

There he gave a speech as part of a public appearance on the need to tighten control over the circulation of firearms.

Everything was heading towards a peaceful end to the event, but suddenly the speaker “exploded” the calm of the protocol event.

Biden abruptly ended his speech. He said the following phrase: “God save the Queen,” TASS agency.

This expression did not fit into the context at all, since it is the name of the British anthem – “God Save the King” (when the monarch is a man).

The White House press officer, in his report on the event, reproduced the entire phrase Biden said: “God save the Queen, boy.”

Some of you asked me why he could say this. I have no idea. Other participants in the pool also have no idea,” the correspondent said.

Later, White House First Deputy Press Secretary Olivia Dalton gave her version of what happened.

The president, she said, “was unable to communicate with the audience due to the weather and said this phrase to someone in the crowd.”

Well, as for the main topic of his speech, the American leader promised to achieve a ban on the sale of assault-style firearms and high-capacity magazines in the country.

We will hold gun manufacturers accountable. We will defeat the weapons industry,” Joe Biden assured.
