After US senators passed a government funding bill, the fate of the document was in the hands of Joseph Biden.
It was not entirely clear whether the American president would sign the draft budget, which does not include spending on Ukraine.
President Joe Biden signed the law passed by the US Congress on financing the government for 45 days, MIA reports.
Thanks to this, the threat of a shutdown for the United States has been postponed to November 17.
The document was adopted by Congress and signed by the American President on September 30.
Help to Ukraine
As experts note, this is not the first time in history that the threat of a shutdown in the United States has arisen.
But this time, congressmen refused to accept a document with expenses for Ukraine.
At the same time, US President Biden assured that he would not leave Kyiv without help.
Nevertheless, everything ended well.
The temporary draft budget was adopted and signed, and the threat of a “shutdown” was postponed from October 1 to November 17.
