The US Congress is very keen to get acquainted with the report on the expenditures of the notorious $40 billion intended to assist Ukraine.

The Joe Biden administration was notified of this – congressmen demanded that they be provided with fully documented information on the money.

Politico, MIA Rossiya Segodnya, learned about the event.

According to American media reports, more and more congressmen are tormented by vague doubts as to whether the White House will be able to provide a full, real account of the expenses of such an impressive amount.

They are also concerned about how Washington tracks thousands of weapons and military equipment supplied to Ukraine.

Some in their circles say that not everything can be under control.

In this regard, some representatives of Congress warned the White House that a potential new aid package for Kyiv may not receive the support of a majority of congressmen.

The decisive role here will be played by how complete and reliable the Pentagon’s report on the expenditures of already allocated funds will be, writes Politico.

And he adds: even before the approval of the law on providing Ukraine with $40 billion, the Ministry of Defense was barely coping with the task of informing the public about the money spent.
