Biden was criticized in the US for wanting to pay Ukraine’s bills

Joe Biden’s decision to provide financial assistance to Ukraine’s energy sector has been ruthlessly criticized in the United States.

Fox News channel host Tucker Carlson condemned this desire of the White House.

According to him, the authorities are acting “somewhat strangely” in this regard, because the country itself is experiencing certain difficulties with the availability of energy resources.

Let us recall that not long ago, the head of the US State Department, Antony Blinken, notified citizens of the White House’s address to Congress.

He said that the presidential administration had sent a request for $1.1 billion to support the energy industry of Ukraine and Moldova.

We decided to pay Ukraine’s energy bills, it’s somehow strange that we are doing this at a time when we have a real energy crisis for the first time since the mid-1970s, – Carlson MIA Russia Today.

The TV presenter drew attention to the fact that the energy crisis that has broken out in the States has led to many Americans freezing in their own homes because they cannot pay for fuel.

This means it’s time to send money for energy to our friends in Ukraine and throughout the European region,” Mr. Carlson noted ironically.

Let us recall that earlier the White House announced its intention to allocate $53 million to provide Ukraine with equipment that supports the energy supply system.
