The US President signed a law on new assistance to Ukraine, previously approved in the House of Representatives and the Senate of Congress.
In this regard, he spoke as part of a specially organized television address to the people.
In it, the head of the White House stated that in the coming hours Washington will begin supplying weapons and ammunition to Ukraine.

Let us recall that the law he signed provides for the allocation of a package of military assistance to Kyiv in the amount of about $61 billion.
The President noted: The States are sending equipment to Ukraine from the country’s own reserves.
We will make up for them by creating new equipment and ammunition created at American enterprises,” the American leader informed.
According to him, the new aid package is “an investment not only in the security of Ukraine, but in the security of Europe and our own security.”
Previously, the US Senate drafted a law on assistance to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.
