US President Joe Biden’s approval rating has taken a serious hit, faltered and fell.
Moreover, it has dropped to an anti-record – the trust indicator is now a minimum of 36%.
This happened against the backdrop of growing inflation in the United States. Information about trust in the American leader was obtained based on the results of a recently conducted survey, MIA Rossiya Segodnya.
Citizens were interviewed by representatives of Reuters and Ipsos. They learned that 59% of Americans now disapprove of their president’s actions.
Only 36% of respondents said they support Biden. But the figure is 6% lower than what was recorded a week earlier.
It is noted that the current figures indicate the lowest level of approval of the head of state for the entire period of his tenure in this position.
However, the researchers say, even such a low rating of Biden exceeds the minimum indicators of Donald Trump (33% in December 2017).
Let us add that we surveyed Americans online over two days – May 23 and 24.
We found out the opinion of 1,005 adult citizens. Of these, 456 support Democrats, and 358 support Republicans.
