55views

According to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Europe today is in the most dangerous situation since the Second World War.

He stated this during a speech to participants in the summer camp of the youth wing of the Workers’ Party of Norway on the island of Utøya (the same one where Anders Breivik shot civilians after the terrorist attack in Oslo in 2011).

He also told those present that his organization seeks to prevent the conflict in Ukraine from turning into a “big war.”

What is happening in Ukraine is terrible, but it will be much worse if a war breaks out in Europe between Russia and NATO, – Head of the North Atlantic Alliance, TASS agency.

He noted that it is for this reason that NATO countries are helping Kyiv with weapons, equipment and money.

However, Stoltenberg reminded again, NATO troops do not enter Ukrainian lands.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that NATO was taking actions aimed at preventing the completion of the special operation in Ukraine.
