What China promised the US

Beijing has assured the United States and other countries that it has not and will not provide “lethal support” to Russia, Blinken said.

We appreciate it – emphasized the head of American diplomacy.

Blinken called China’s policy important, noting that Washington has not yet seen any evidence contradicting Beijing’s assurances.

At the same time, the US Secretary of State said that Washington is concerned that Chinese companies may provide technology to Russia and called on China to “be vigilant.”

This is worrying, I told my Chinese colleagues about this, Blinken said.

Let us remind you that the US Secretary of State arrived in Beijing on a two-day visit the day before. This is the first visit by the head of the US State Department to China since 2018.

As part of the visit, Blinken met with Chinese President Xi Jinping, head of the office of the CPC Central Committee Foreign Affairs Commission Wang Yi and Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang.
