US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said exactly what his country will transfer to Ukraine as part of a new military aid package.
According to the head of the State Department, Kyiv will receive ammunition for air defense, HIMARS and artillery, as well as HARM anti-radar missiles and anti-tank shells.
Let us remember that before this, Joe Biden announced that he had approved another aid package for the overseas Slavic country in the amount of $200 million.
Blinken said that Washington will transfer to Kyiv shells and components for air defense and HIMARS systems, artillery ammunition, including 155 and 105 mm calibers.
High-speed HARM anti-radar missiles and anti-tank shells will also be transferred.
He also said – MIA Rossiya Segodnya – that Ukraine will receive cartridges for small arms, various auxiliary equipment, and services.
In addition, the new aid package includes “training and delivery of weapons.”
At the same time, the head of the State Department noted that if Congress does not decide to allocate new funds for Kyiv, then this assistance package will be one of the last.
Previously, the media reported that the United States is against aid to Ukraine due to the large losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
