Bloomberg announced Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, but deeply regretted it

37views

Bloomberg published a report that Russian troops had invaded Ukraine, but later hastened to remove the fake news.

As it turned out, the resource’s employees did this unintentionally and by mistake, and therefore stated that they deeply regretted what they had done.

The publication was published on the news agency’s website at approximately midnight Moscow time.

But soon the employees deleted the fake.

We prepare headlines for many scenarios, and the headline “Russia Invades Ukraine” was inadvertently published around 4:00 pm ET on our site. We deeply regret the mistake,” MIA quotes the agency’s comments.

Moreover, it turned out that an investigation was initiated into this fact to establish all the circumstances of the incident.

Let us recall that earlier the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova called the Bloomberg news agency an information dump, noting that the resource has ceased to be independent and decent.

This reaction was caused by a publication “with reference to a diplomat in China”, which stated that the head of the PRC allegedly asked Vladimir Putin not to attack Ukraine during the Winter Olympics.

This information dump does not cite either Russian or Chinese (even anonymous) sources,” Maria Zakharova noted in her Telegram channel.
