The United States has donated GPS-guided Excalibur missiles to Ukraine.

This was reported by the authoritative news agency Bloomberg, which had previously unpublished budget documents at its disposal.

The Pentagon handed over to Ukraine its most accurate Excalibur artillery shell with GPS guidance, reports the media outlet Rossiya Segodnya.

It is noted that confirmation of the transfer of these shells to Kyiv can be the plan that the American authorities have to replenish their own reserves of Excalibur.

According to published data, the Pentagon intends to spend $92 million on this from additional funds approved by Congress.

Earlier, Politico newspaper wrote that the United States included Excalibur guided artillery shells in the latest package of military assistance to Ukraine.

Citing its sources, the publication claimed that Washington did not make this step public.

It is known that the American M777 howitzer of 155 mm caliber can fire Excalibur shells.

Over a hundred such howitzers were provided to Kyiv by the USA, Canada and Australia.

Please note: the firing range of Excalibur shells is more than 40 kilometers. The maximum deviation from the target does not exceed 10 meters.

By the way. At the moment, the total amount of military assistance that America has allocated to Ukraine exceeds $10 billion.
