46views

The Hungarian Minister for European Union Affairs responded to the publication of The Financial Times about the EU’s plans to destroy the Hungarian economy for refusing to help Ukraine.

Janos Boka said that his country will not succumb to blackmail from Brussels on the issue of providing a financial assistance package to Kyiv.

Hungary will not be blackmailed! – statement by the politician MIA “Russia Today”.

He noted that the article in the newspaper is confirmation of what the Hungarian authorities have been reporting for a long time.

And he reminded again: they are informing that the EU is using access to its funds to exert political pressure.

Boca points out that Budapest does not link support for Kyiv with access to funds and “does not allow others to do this.”

Hungary will continue to constructively participate in the negotiations, but will not give in to blackmail, the minister said.

Earlier, The Financial Times reported that the European Union had developed a plan to undermine the Hungarian economy in the event of Budapest’s refusal to help Ukraine.
