Former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) referred to minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), as a “dictator” during an event organized this Saturday, September 7, on Avenida Paulista, in São Paulo.

“We must put the brakes on, through constitutional provisions, those who leave, who break, the limits of the four lines of our Constitution. And I hope the Federal Senate puts the brakes on Alexandre de Moraes, this dictator”, said Bolsonaro in a speech to supporters at the scene.

The former president also accused Moraes of conducting the 2022 electoral process in a “partial manner”, when Bolsonaro ended up defeated by Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) in the second round.

“The 2022 elections, as you are slowly becoming aware, were entirely conducted in a partial manner by the president of the Superior Electoral Court, Alexandre de Moraes. I couldn’t do anything: I couldn’t do live from my house, I couldn’t return the images of the 7th of September”, he stated.

Bolsonaro once again asked for amnesty for prisoners involved in the coup acts on January 8, 2023 and classified the episode as a “frame”. On that occasion, the headquarters of the Three Powers, in Brasília, were invaded and vandalized by vandals.

“We went through difficult times, like that attack on January 8th. God wanted me to leave the country, on December 30th, I had a feeling, but I didn’t know what would happen. That was never a coup d’état,” declared Bolsonaro.
