The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security, Josep Borrell, announced active support for the media, called foreign agents in Russia.
The head of the EU foreign policy service made this statement on February 7 at a conference dedicated to the fight against disinformation.

According to Borrell, the EU provides active support to Russian independent media, defenders of civil society and human rights.
We actively help them – said the head of European diplomacy, emphasizing that this is not just rhetoric.
Borrell noted that he could not disclose details, but assured that support is provided not only in words, but also in deeds.
I can’t say exactly how, because I would be doing them a disservice, – added the EU’s chief diplomat.
